Tribal Diamond Multicolor Moroccan Rug

Tribal diamonds in blue, pink, orange, green and yellow fill this Berber rug from edge to edge. Each diamond is knotted by hand, so the colors meet a little differently every time and the pattern stays lively up close. A multicolor rug pulls a room together: pick any color from it for cushions, throws or art and it will belong. It suits eclectic living rooms, bright bedrooms and family spaces where a pale rug would not last. The wool is natural sheep's wool, washed and colored with natural dyes, knotted into a pile of about 3–4 cm (1.2–1.6 in). Your rug is woven after you order, in 4–6 weeks, and you see photos of it before it leaves Morocco. It comes in 10 standard sizes from 2×3 to 10×15 ft, or in a custom size made for your room.

Colorful Berber rugs grow out of the same Amazigh weaving traditions as Beni Ourain and Boujad pieces, with more freedom in palette and pattern. This rug is hand-knotted to order from naturally dyed wool by a woman weaver in the network of about forty artisans we work with in Morocco.

Vacuum regularly on low suction without the beater bar, and keep the vacuum off the fringe. Blot spills straight away with a clean, dry cloth; do not rub. Turn the rug every few months so it wears and fades evenly. For a deep clean, use a professional cleaner who works with wool. A few loose fibers are normal in the first weeks of a new wool rug.
