About This Rug
A runner in deep red wool and nothing else: no pattern, just a long, shaggy pile with tonal shifts from cherry to brick where the wool takes the dye differently. Lay it down a hallway, beside a bed or along a kitchen to bring warmth and colour to a plain floor. Red sits well with white walls, oak and black metal. The photos show the runner this design comes from, on our workshop floor in Morocco. Yours is hand-knotted to order from washed natural sheep's wool in 4–6 weeks, and before it ships we send you photos of your finished runner to approve. Choose one of seven runner sizes, up to about 16 ft long, or a custom length.

Craft story
Long, narrow runners have always been woven alongside room-size rugs in Morocco, for corridors and the floor beside a bed. This runner is hand-knotted to order by a woman weaver in the network of more than forty artisans we work with in Morocco, so it can be made in the length your space needs.
Care
Vacuum regularly on low suction without the beater bar, and keep the vacuum off the fringe. Blot spills straight away with a clean, dry cloth; do not rub. Turn the rug every few months so it wears and fades evenly. For a deep clean, use a professional cleaner who works with wool. A few loose fibers are normal in the first weeks of a new wool rug.
