About This Rug
Blush pink and sage green with touches of rust and ivory, in an abstract diamond design. The muted colors give it a soft, lived-in look, although the rug is newly woven for you. Blush and sage are a natural pair. The rug brings calm warmth to living rooms and bedrooms, with cream, wood and greenery. Hand-knotted from washed natural sheep's wool and colored with natural dyes, it has a pile of about 3–4 cm (1.2–1.6 in) that feels soft and dense underfoot. It is woven to order in 4–6 weeks, and before it ships we send you photos of your finished rug to approve. Choose one of 10 standard sizes from 2×3 to 10×15 ft, or enter your own size.

Craft story
Boujad rugs take their name from the town of Boujad in central Morocco, a weaving area known for warm pinks, reds and oranges and loose, improvised diamonds. This rug is hand-knotted to order in that spirit by a woman weaver in the network of about forty artisans we work with in Morocco.
Care
Vacuum regularly on low suction without the beater bar, and keep the vacuum off the fringe. Blot spills straight away with a clean, dry cloth; do not rub. Turn the rug every few months so it wears and fades evenly. For a deep clean, use a professional cleaner who works with wool. A few loose fibers are normal in the first weeks of a new wool rug.
