About This Rug
Built around a single, quiet idea — an open ivory field crossed by a diamond lattice — this Beni Ourain rug keeps its geometry restrained and its palette pared back. The ground reads ivory to warm beige, so the pattern registers as texture and rhythm rather than contrast. The neutral coloring lets it sit under almost any furniture without competing. In a living room it grounds a sofa and coffee table; in a bedroom it softens the floor underfoot and frames the bed. Because the diamond motif is spare, the rug works with modern, Scandinavian, and minimal interiors alike. Each piece is woven by hand from wool by Moroccan women artisans in the Berber (Amazigh) tradition. The ivory field and diamond lattice are worked entirely by hand, and small variations in line and tone are a natural signature of handwoven, handmade work rather than a flaw. Made to order and crafted in approximately four weeks, this rug is available in standard sizes and can be produced to custom dimensions, so it fits the exact footprint of your room.

Craft story
This Beni Ourain–style rug is made entirely by hand by Moroccan women artisans in the Berber (Amazigh) tradition. The ivory ground and diamond lines are handwoven in wool. No two handmade pieces are identical — slight shifts in the lattice and in the tone of the ivory are part of the character of a rug woven by hand rather than made by machine.
Care
Vacuum gently and regularly, using low suction and avoiding the fringes. Blot spills promptly with a clean, dry cloth — do not rub. Keep the rug out of prolonged direct sunlight and rotate it periodically so it wears evenly. Avoid harsh chemical cleaners. For deeper cleaning or set-in stains, use a professional rug cleaner experienced with wool.
